Check out Red Skies Magazine!

The internet has given people a great way to get the information they want, regardless of demographics or interests. There's always going to be some kind of information available online no matter what you like. The convenience is finding the right kind of news that's exciting for you.

Red Skies E-Zine is one such online source. Focusing on student-related news and updates, Red Skies delivers premium quality content that anyone can enjoy.

"Red Skies is the e-zine of Salem State College, written by and for students, featuring opinion, creative writing, and information about the college and Greater Salem," says Perry Glasser, coordinator of professional writing at Salem State.

In correspondence with Tashima Gallant, Red Skies Managing Editor, she had the following to say about Red Skies:

Red Skies is a student run magazine that uses real editorial processes. Students write, edit and sometimes layout their own work. There is an executive board compiled completely of students featuring a publicist, managing editor, editors in chief and 'beat' editors who specialize in one particular section of the magazine. At Red Skies, students gain real-world experience in the editorial field.

The magazine is geared toward the SSC community and so most, if not all, of the articles written in Red Skies have some sort of SSC spin.
Bored, lonely, depressed? Read Red Skies. Hungry for some creative writing or poetry? Read Red Skies. Want to know about upcoming campus events or learn what you did or did not miss at events that have already passed? You get the picture.

Red Skies is a place for the SSC student voice to be heard, read, and seen as we have both audio visual and written components.

My personal favorite thing about Red Skies is that, as a writer, I can trust the staff of editors to keep my voice and make me look much smarter than I really am.
