In my previous post, I introduced Twitter as a social networking tool for the next generation. Since then, I've received a lot of feedback, usually in the form of comments questioning what the point of Twitter is. Here's a short video explaining what Twitter is, and how it works.
See, that wasn't too painful, was it?
Twitter is a way to bring people together, using small messages about what you are doing. By updating on what you are doing, people learn a little more about you, and your friends and people that matter to you become closer to you!
The easiest way to use Twitter is from their website, http://twitter.com. From there, you can do everything you need to see your friends updates, and add your own!
Start posting little things about you, like what you're doing, what you're eating, or what movie you really want to see. Your friends may not know that you love stuffed shells more than life itself, or that you thought Watchmen was a great movie!
If you don't have any friends yet, you can start following me on Twitter by clicking here!
Over the next few days, I'll post a little more about Twitter, and how you can use it to stay in touch.

Isn't Twitter just a little on the stalker side? I mean, technically, you can see what anyone is doing at any given moment in their lives. Isn't that a little scary? It just creeps me out a little.
Well, yeah, it's kind of like a permissive stalker scenario. It's up to you to say only what you feel comfortable with. Most of my friends don't say everything they do, only what might be interesting.
